Sports, Sports, Sports

Does ballet qualify as a sport? London thinks so, in fact she is so active during her practices that I can't get a picture that isn't blurry from her moving so much.

Easter

Our Easter get together with Joel and Calli and their kids, Grandma and Grandpa Stanley and Abran. The kids loved the easter egg hunt and had their fill of sugar!

Happy 6th Birthday Preston

Preston had a great birthday with lots of friends from school and basketball at a place called "Jump for Fun." They wore themselves out on all the inflatable bounce houses and then filled up on lots of sugary cake. What more could a kid ask for?

Preston and Maddox have both been playing on Basketball teams and LOVE it. They are so cute to watch and are getting much better than Mom at home when we play HORSE.

Is This REALLY Texas

Yes, my kids think we lied to them and never really moved to Texas, but more like the North Pole. We have had record weather patterns ever since we got here, like record rainfalls in the fall, record cold temperatures this winter, and now a 100 year record for SNOW! I'm tired of being such a trend setter!

Happy 4th Birthday Mad Dog!

We love you big guy! Where has the time gone? You are my baby boy and I hope you never outgrow your sweet chubby cheeks and your low, scruffy voice. Hugs and kisses...Mom

Stockyards

A visit to the Stockyards with Cayden's 4th Grade class. The kids got a lot of history on Texas and saw a real cattle drive right through downtown Ft. Worth.

Fall Activities

Pumkin Patches here are a bit like Christmas tree lots. They just set out a bunch of pumkins (grown elsewhere) along the side of the road and call it a Pumkin Patch...Cayden was disappointed in the lack of scare factor associated with any mazes (ie. not like the Haunted Corn Maze in Eugene!)<

They did have some cool pumkins, though. These are called "Fairytale" pumkins...

All the ghosts and goblins, did not have to worry about being chilly here in Texas.

Pre-Ballet

I wish I could have gotten some closer shots, but this little girl will not hold still for me at all and they were all a blur. So I was hiding behind a door to get these few. Bless her patient teachers, but I do have to say it is pretty cute and comical to watch!

Sidebar returns!

Ok, so I figured out my sidebar problem and then my background went out on me, and suddenly came back with no help from me, so I'm beginning to think I have a haunted blog! But at this point I'm so happy I figured out the sidebar problem I'll take the ghosts. I have a few new pictures that Jason e-mailed from his phone and thought I would share them.

This was taken at my neices wedding in July...

These are a few more pics from our Disneyland Trip...

This was our last trip to the Oregon Coast and we actually had sunshine, someone was a poser...

We are still ALIVE!

I know it's been a while...OK a LONG while but things have not settled down a bit! Today was the kids first day of school in TEXAS! Wait, back-up, that's right. We moved down to Texas on the 16th of this month, leaving our Eugene home still for sale and moving in with Jason's parents until it sells. So I will digress...What a summer. We kicked it off with a Stanley family reunion to Sunriver and had a great time with lots of cousins. I had a neice get married in July in Utah, we went to Seattle to visit family and in August we went to Disneyland with the boys and Jason and I ran a half marathon to raise awareness and money for Musculur Dystrophy. As soon as we got back we packed up to move...it has been crazy to say the least. We are happy to be back in Texas and look forward to getting more settled as soon as our home sells.
